How can you give?

There are two simple ways you can make a regular gift to IVCS. All you need to do is decide how you would like to give and complete the relevant simple form.

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving enables you to make charitable donations straight from your gross salary (before tax has been deducted). This means that you get immediate tax relief on the value of your donation. Therefore, for a basic rate taxpayer wanting to give a £10 donation, it will only cost £7.80, or just £6 for higher rate taxpayers. Many employers are encouraging the scheme by matching their employees' donations.

If you a UK taxpayer, paid through PAYE, your company is almost certainly eligible to offer Payroll Giving (they may refer to the scheme using a specific brand name, such as Give As You Earn).

Speak to your employer to clarify whether they offer a Payroll Giving scheme, and if they do complete this form and return it to IVCS. Click here for tax-free Give as You Earn form (click here for Word format)

or....Direct from your bank account

You can arrange to support the Fund direct from your bank account. You can cancel or change it at any time. Simply complete the form and return it to IVCS.

Gift Aid allows you to increase the value of your donations to any charity by nearly 30%. A £10 donation is worth £12.80 to IVCS at no extra cost to you; and that’s a big difference for a small charity!

As long as you are a UK taxpayer, IVCS can reclaim from the Inland Revenue the basic rate tax paid on your donation making your gift worth 28% more. All you need to do is complete the Gift Aid section on the bank form above.
